What is Personal Data?

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("LPPD"), any information that enables a natural person to be identified or identifiable is considered personal data. In this context, name, surname, date of birth, identity number, e-mail address, telephone number and similar information shared with our company are called personal data.

The target audience of this text is all natural persons whose personal data is processed by SORB, except for employees of SORB GIDA VE İÇECEK SAN.VE TİC.A.Ş. (“SORB”) or job candidates who have applied for SORB jobs. In accordance with the Laws and Regulations prepared by SORB to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the right to privacy, and to protect personal data, SORB takes all technical and administrative measures to ensure the appropriate level of security in order to prevent the unlawful processing of your personal data, to prevent unlawful access, and to ensure its preservation.

About the purposes and legal reasons for processing personal data:

The personal data to be shared by you is processed for the following purposes and reasons:

Carrying out administrative operations related to communication conducted by SORB,

Ensuring the physical security and control of SORB's locations in use,

To enable you and/or the institutions and organizations you represent to benefit from the products and services offered by SORB,

Carrying out necessary work, including but not limited to determining and implementing our company's commercial and business strategies, carrying out marketing activities, and carrying out business development and planning activities,

Establishing business partner/customer/supplier (authorized personnel or employees) relationships,

Ensuring contractual requirements and financial agreements regarding products and services offered with business partners, suppliers or other third parties,

Execution of SORB's human resources policies,

Calling SORB's call center or using its website,

Participating in training, seminars or organizations organized by SORB.

About the collection and storage of personal data:

Your personal data that you share with SORB may be collected verbally, in writing or electronically through automatic or non-automatic methods, offices, branches, call center, website, social media channels, mobile applications and similar means.

Your personal data will be stored in electronic and/or physical environments, and technical security infrastructure developments and the design of necessary business processes are implemented to ensure that your personal data provided and stored by SORB are not exposed to unauthorized access, manipulation, loss or damage in the environments where they are stored.

Your personal data that you share will be processed by taking all necessary information security measures, provided that it is not used outside the purposes and scope notified to you, and will be stored and processed for the legal retention period or, if no such period is foreseen, for the period required by the purpose of processing. Once this period expires, your personal data will be removed from SORB data flows by deletion, destruction or anonymization methods.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with the persons, institutions and organizations listed below, within the scope of the Laws and other legislation and for the purposes described.

SORB shareholders, our direct/indirect domestic/overseas affiliates, courts and other public institutions due to and limited to our legal obligations, Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. and Türk Telekomünikasyon group companies, companies that we have authorized and that operate on behalf of SORB, our representatives, regulatory and supervisory institutions, public institutions or organizations that are explicitly authorized to request your personal data in the laws they are subject to, business partnerships, supplier and contractor companies, banks, credit risk and finance institutions and other real or legal persons within the scope of the specified purposes, tax and similar consultants, mandatory persons related to legal follow-up processes, institutions and organizations and third parties from whom we receive consultancy, including auditors, and, without limitation, business partners, third parties from whom we receive service, authorized persons and organizations for the above-mentioned purposes, domestically and abroad.

Rights Regarding Personal Data:

In accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK, to the extent that your personal data is processed by SORB as the data controller, you reserve the right to request the following:

Learning whether data is processed or not,

If the data has been processed, request information on the subject,

To learn the purpose of processing the data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,

Request correction of data if it is incomplete and/or processed incorrectly,

Requesting the deletion and/or destruction of data within the framework of the conditions set forth in Article 7 of the KVKK,

The relevant person must submit his/her requests within the scope of his/her rights specified in Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, in writing or by using the registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the electronic mail address previously notified to SORB by the relevant person and registered in the SORB system.
